it has taken me some time to get all this done, but its been hard i miss the kit and free prossesing and NEG SCANNERS (your going to have to excuse the quitlty of the images asjessops scanned, the files are tiny) but im happy with the look of them i think it works wooo.
so any way the idea of these images is that im looking at the term "keeping up with the jones" wich is kinda all about competing with ur neighbor having the nieces garden on the street or the best car,
It just lacks a little continuity, maybe cut it down to like 6 and make it a stronger series, for a reference see stuart whipps project on a similar ground. where everything is perfect in terms of composition, depth and allignment.
Hi Joe, it's jenna here! Great work but like Stew said - composition isn't perfect and I think it is really important that it is in order to stregthen it as a body! Try following the vertical lines rather than the horizontal, as some of the properties apppear to be on none level roads which could be interesting aesthetically and add to what you're trying to say. I think also, it lacks a little intimacy- not sure if it would work better you being closer or further away from the subject- might be worth experimenting? A great start though. Can't wait to see how it progresses!!
Loving the idea. like Capper and Jenna have commented it needs a bit of continuity. My favorite images are the last two due o the fact that the apex of the roof is allined and the bottom the image is based with lawn. Where are the cars?, and is the house/bungalows on one street? Definetly re-shoot, great idea.
Exellent stuff Joe.

But that aside I love it, great title too...
